Do I need to install anything?
No. You upload your videos and manage your streams in your browser. There’s no software to install and no server to manage.
Can I close my browser after starting the stream?
Yes. Once you press start, the stream runs on our servers. You can close the tab and turn your computer off.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Nothing changes for the stream, because it doesn’t run on your connection. You only need the internet to upload videos and make changes.
Do you need access to my YouTube channel?
No. We only need the stream key from YouTube Studio. It can send video to your channel, but it can’t sign in to your account or manage your content, and you can reset it anytime.
Can I stream from a camera or my screen?
No. airloop.live only streams recorded videos you upload. For a camera, screen or game capture, use OBS or similar software.
Can I keep using OBS for other streams?
Yes, as long as the two don’t send to the same stream key at the same time. Stop one before you start the other.
