Your first 24/7 live stream, step by step

From creating an account to managing your stream. Each step takes just a few minutes.

Steps 1 – 2

Create your account, upload your videos

  1. 1

    Create your account

Enter the code we email you or continue with Google. No password needed, and your dashboard is ready right away.

  2. 2

    Upload your videos

Upload your files from the Library in your dashboard. Once uploaded, each video is converted to a stream-ready format in the background, which can take a few minutes depending on file size. You can follow the progress in your Library.

Steps 3 – 4

Get your key from YouTube, create the stream

  1. 3

Set up a live stream on YouTube

In YouTube Studio, click Create → Go live. When Live Control Room opens, copy the stream key from the Stream tab. Turn off auto-stop in the stream settings; if it stays on, YouTube ends the stream about a minute after the video signal stops.

  2. 4

    Create the stream in airloop.live

In your dashboard, go to Streams → New stream. Name it, choose the videos in the order you want, and paste the stream key you copied. To send it to Twitch and Kick too, add them as destinations.

Steps 5 – 6

Press start, our servers do the rest

  1. 5

    Press start

When you press Start, our stream server connects and within seconds you’re live on YouTube and any other platforms you added. You can close the tab now.

  2. 6

    Monitor and manage

Your dashboard shows how long the stream has been live, which server it’s on, and its event history. Stop it whenever you want, or change the playlist without interrupting the stream.

What happens after you press Start?

The stream runs on our servers, not your computer. Turning your computer off, losing your internet or traveling won’t affect it.

  1. Upload

Your file uploads in chunks from your browser straight to our encoding server.

    • MP4 · MOV · MKV · WEBM
    • M4V · AVI · FLV · TS
  2. Conversion

Each video is converted once to 1080p 30 fps H.264/AAC. We keep the encoded copy and delete the original.

    • Landscape 1920×1080
    • Vertical 1080×1920
  3. Stream server

Videos are sent one after another in your order, with no re-encoding while live. The playlist loops when it ends.

    • 30 fps
    • About 4,500 kbps
  4. YouTube, Twitch, Kick

Your stream reaches your channels using the keys you entered, and one stream can go to several platforms at once. If it drops, it restarts automatically.

Yes. The stream runs on our servers, not your computer. Turning your computer off, losing your internet or traveling won’t affect it.

Yes. With multistreaming, you can send one stream to YouTube, Twitch and Kick at the same time. Every platform gets the same video, and it counts as one stream slot. You choose the platforms for each stream.

Yes. Line up as many videos as you like; they play in order and the playlist loops when it ends. The only requirement is that all videos in a playlist share the same orientation, either all landscape or all vertical.

Live streams are checked every minute. If a stream drops or loses connection, it restarts automatically, picks up where it left off, and the event is logged in your dashboard. After 5 stops in a row, automatic retries end; check the event log, your stream key and videos, then restart it yourself. We can’t fix a reset stream key or YouTube stopping a stream over copyright or policy, which is why we don’t promise 100% uptime. We recommend turning off auto-stop in Live Control Room; if it stays on, YouTube ends the stream about a minute after the video signal stops.
